PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

RE: APPLICATION FOR US NATIONAL PASSPORT BY ROC PASSPORT HOLDER CURRENTLY RESIDING IN USA

We would like to introduce you to our "Declaration of the Taiwan Status" which was published in the TAIWAN DAILY NEWS, page 3, on April 6, 2006, in an English - Chinese bilingual format. That Declaration is on the internet here in English -- http://www.taiwanadvice.com/declare.htm

Using our legal formulation, it is now possible for an ROC passport holding native Taiwanese person in the USA to apply directly for a US national passport !!

We are not an immigration agency, however we can provide email counseling to any interested and qualified persons in the USA who want to complete this procedure on a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) basis. The fees you pay are paid to the US government, we don't charge anything.

For a potential applicant in the USA to complete this procedure, it is necessary to have a valid ROC passport and a valid US visa.

To begin this procedure, each potential applicant will initially need to provide us with the following information, and/or answer the following questions:

  1. What is the zipcode + 4 digits of your residency address in the USA?
  2. Have you ever served in the ROC military? How many months did you serve? In what month and year were you discharged?
  3. Do you have a valid visa in the USA? What type of visa is it?
  4. What is the number of your ROC passport? Where was it issued?
  5. Can you download and fill out a DS-11 application form? The URL is here - http://foia.state.gov/FORMS/Passport/ds0011.pdf
We will provide you with the address of the appropriate US government contact office to submit your DS-11 form, and give you a checklist of the necessary accompanying data to submit with it.

Normally, we will have to have several exchanges of email in order to get your information in order. We will provide you with covering letter, statement, and other necessary instructions, including a 35 page legal summary of your eligibility to apply for the US national passport.

You may also ask us any questions you have.

Sincerely,

Dr. Roger C. S. Lin
